Every size on every Banjaaran Studio product page is already labelled in all three systems at once, for example US9 / EU42 / UK8, so most of the time you never have to convert anything: just choose your usual size. This guide is here for when you want the full conversion chart, want to measure your foot, or want to understand how sizing works on a made-to-order pair. In short: our shoes run true to size, so order the size you normally wear, and if you are between sizes, order the larger one.
How our sizes work
Our shoes are built on European (EU) lasts, and every product page shows the EU size next to its US and UK equivalents. Men's styles (loafers, brogues and men's mules) run EU39 to EU48, which is US6 to US15. The cone mules are made in women's sizing, EU35 to EU42 (US4 to US11). The bomber sneakers come in both a men's run and a women's run. Whichever system you know your size in, the label on the page carries all three, so you can order with confidence.
EU to US and UK shoe size conversion
Read from the chart that matches the style: the men's chart for loafers, brogues, men's mules and the men's run of the sneakers, and the women's chart for the cone mules and the women's run of the sneakers. The same EU number lands on a different US size in each chart, so the style you are buying decides which row to use.

Men's styles are made in the full EU39 to EU48 range, so large sizes up to US15 (EU48) are always available to order. The bomber sneakers' men's run covers EU39 to EU46 (US6 to US13).

How to measure your foot
Measure your foot at home in a minute, then match it to your size. Do it in the evening, when feet are at their largest, and measure both feet, since one is usually slightly bigger; use the larger one.
- Stand on a sheet of paper with your heel against a wall.
- Mark the paper at the tip of your longest toe.
- Measure the distance from the wall to that mark in centimetres.
- Find that length on the guide below to get your EU size, then read your US and UK size from the chart above.

If you are between sizes, size up
Order the larger of the two sizes if you fall between them. Our shoes run true to size, and sizing up gives the better fit on a leather shoe that eases in gradually with wear, rather than a size that feels tight from the first day.
What made-to-order means for your size
Because every pair is handcrafted to order in India, your shoes are cut and built in your size after you place the order, not picked off a shelf. That is why choosing the right size upfront matters: there are no free returns to fall back on. Exchanges are possible within 10 days of delivery on an unworn pair, and you cover the return postage, so it is always worth getting the size right before you order.
